When fans come to an event in Japan they go all out to support it.  D1GP is great in that it gives back to the fans as well.  The pitwalk is the perfect way for all the fans to get up close to the driftcars and the drivers too.  This is how motorsport should be! Share → Tweet

2011 D1GP Rd. 8 – Part 2

The worst thing about a rainy practice day is that you can be sure it’s still going to be damp the following morning.  Kind of like a kick in the guts then another lazy boot while you are down, well for us photographers anyway. Looking on the bright side Sunday was fine! The cars were out on track early and by 9:30 a dry line was starting to appear and so was the smoke! Share → Tweet

Retrospect : D1GP Odaiba 2011

Client クライアント : New Zealand Performance Car D1GP Tokyo drift is the real ‘Tokyo drift’.  Forget imitation movies, this is what you need to see.  The D1GP circus converges on Odaiba to spend 2 days tearing up the tarmac in a large carpark which is converted into a drift course.
